waaaaauw, great music these old cumbias. you know i heard cumbia for the first time about 35 years ago when i was a student.
one student gave a party and had lived in colombia for some years with his parents. at once he played an old cumbia record and everybody become crazy. all thos dutch students heard it for the first time like me, but they all liked it and started to dance. i have never forgotten that moment.
by the way, the wanyika past is also great. i saw them in 1992 when they visited holland.
